I just heard from Irina Rindzuner and she was thrilled to have
received great reviews, and also a standing ovation for the Fanciulla
in Montreal,where,without any stage rehearsal, she substituted at
short notice for Susan Patterson.
Mrs.Gelb was the conductor, and Irina really loved her...This was a
great triumph for a deserving lady...Next week i will see the Turandot
she sings with Di capo...LOUD!!!In a small theatre......Shades of Eva
Turner!!
No one deserved this more..and let us hope she goes on to more
exciting things soon.She covers Nedda at the met..we shall see.
I always manage to "discover" new divas somewhere...CH...
