John, belittling Mr Tillman about issues of this nature does you no
credit. I have no idea whether your insinuations are on target but
even if they are, having children is no particular accomplishment, nor
is being tall, nor, in many cases, is having lots of "friends".
Let's give Tillman credit, as he is wont to say, where due. He is
very fond of his dog, Elvis (who I trust is still with us; I don't
think I've seen Mr Tillman mention him lately, and I sincerely hope
that Elvis hasn't shuffled off this mortal coil).
And when it comes to opera, as any fair-minded observer would have to
agree, Mr Tillman really knows his shit.
