"Bitchy"? Because I point out that recorded concerts often contain
strictly orchestral material along with operatic selections by the
artist headlined on the cover?

Given the multitude of commercial CD's by most of the artists I favor,
it would never occur to me to BUY a "pirate" CD! FWIW, many commercial
CD's headlining a particular singer also include orchestral selections -
the Forlane "Wagner" disk of van Dam, for example. (A lot of the
commercially available CD's of Callas "in concert" contain comparatively
little of the diva's singing, also - I haven't heard Callas fans
complaining.)

Why on earth would I WANT to buy ANY CD of Caballe? (She's a long, long
way from the top of my list of favorite sopranos!) Ed's listings
usually provide the date and venue of the performance - perhaps he
expects his customers to do their homework before ordering "pirate"
recordings of performances not available commercially?

Really? The only time I thought I had cause to complain of a selection
from Premiere, Ed send me a better quality replacement, no argument.
(It's true, I did find delivery a bit slow once or twice, but I assumed
that was to be expected from a one-man operation - especially since one
presumes it is not Ed's principal source of income.)
